Richard passed away on May 25, 2018. He was survived by his wife of 45 years Sharon (nee: Volkart); granddaughters Averie and Mackenzie; brothers Thomas and William Kirkwood.  He was preceded in death by his son Jason Kirkwood.
Richard was a member of the Swim Team (10) and Student Council (10)
